Instructions:
CO 55, (60, 65) sts.
Knit even in st st until hat measures approx. 8, (8.5, 9)" from CO (not from bottom of roll).
Dec Rnds:
Rnd 1: *K3, K2tog*, repeat from * to * to end of rnd.
Rnd 2 (and all even rnds): knit
Rnd 3: *K2, K2tog* repeat from * to * to end of rnd.
Rnd 5: *K1, K2tog* repeat from * to * to end of rnd.
